How It Works
Fill out an Intent to Enroll form
Families interested in enrolling their child(ren) at Mountain Song Community School for the 2025-2026 school year must complete the Intent to Enroll (ITE) form. Once we receive your ITE, your child will be placed in the enrollment lottery (if ITE is received by January 31, 2025) or placed on the waitlist according to the date we receive the ITE. The enrollment lottery is held the second Tuesday of every February.
Siblings of currently enrolled students and staff members’ children receive priority placement and will be moved to the top of the waitlist or offered the first available spots.
School Year 2025-2026 Intent to Enroll Form
Please note that children must be 5 years old by October 1st the year they enter Kindergarten.
Submit Enrollment Documentation
Should your child(ren) be offered a spot at Mountain Song, additional enrollment forms and documents, including immunizations and birth certificate, will be required. Our Registrar will send the needed registration information and documentation to you after you accept your child’s spot in the classroom. These items MUST be returned within two weeks from the date enrollment was offered. Incomplete paperwork will not be accepted.
Supply fees (when applicable) are due before the first day of school and may be paid online or with cash in the office. As per Colorado Statute, supply fees are waived for those families who qualify for free and reduced lunch.
The enrollment window closes on September 29, 2024 at the end of the business day. No students will be enrolled once the window closes.
After a student has been offered a spot at the school, families must provide a student’s most recent IEP (including eligibility IEP) or Section 504 Plan, if available.
Mountain Song Community School welcomes all students and strives to create and maintain a diverse student population. Enrollment in MSCS is open to all students residing in the state. Student recruitment and enrollment decisions shall be made in a nondiscriminatory manner as outlined in C.R.S. § 22-30.5-507(3). In all cases, student recruitment and enrollment decisions shall be made without regard to disability, race (including hair texture, hair type or hairstyle), creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin (including English language learners), religion, ancestry, or need for special education services, or any other protected classes.
Learn more about Mountain Song!
We encourage all new families to join a group tour with our Director of Education and/or attend a Parent Information Session. We also encourage families to learn more about Waldorf-inspired education by referencing resources on our website and learning about our curriculum. We also offer parent education opportunities throughout the school year.
