Director of Education (Principle)
The Director of Education is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), sharing responsibility for the success and sustainability of Mountain Song Community School. This position provides visionary academic leadership, oversees instructional quality, mentors faculty, ensures program alignment with Waldorf pedagogy and Colorado standards, and supports the school’s holistic and inclusive learning environment. The Director works collaboratively with the Board, Director of Operations and Development, Director of Student Services, Teacher Leadership Council, staff, families, and community partners to uphold the mission and values of the school.
Middle School Classroom Teacher
The Middle School Teacher guides students in grades 6–8 through an engaging and developmentally aligned curriculum that balances academic rigor with creativity, social connection, and self-discovery. Teachers cultivate curiosity, responsibility, and resilience while preparing students for a smooth transition into high school.
Classroom Teacher

Math Teacher
MSCS is a Waldorf-inspired charter school dedicated to providing a holistic, developmentally appropriate education that nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. The Math Teacher provides high-quality, engaging math instruction in alignment with Colorado Academic Standards and MSCS's mission. This role supports student mastery of math concepts through developmentally appropriate methods that integrate hands-on, real-world applications, and data-informed practices.
English Language Development Coordinator
The English Language Development (ELD) Coordinator is responsible for overseeing, developing, and supporting high-quality instructional programs for Multilingual Learners (MLs). This role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations while also providing instructional guidance to teachers and staff serving Multilingual Learners that aligns with Waldorf-inspired pedagogy.. In addition, the ELD Coordinator organizes and administers annual language screeners and assessments in conjunction with the Director of Student Services.
School Social Worker
The School Social Worker at Mountain Song Community School (MSCS) plays a vital role in supporting students' social, emotional, and behavioral well-being within a Waldorf-inspired educational setting. This position provides direct support to students, collaborates with teachers and families, and implements interventions that align with the school's holistic, child-centered approach. The School Social Worker will work closely with faculty and the Special Education team to foster a nurturing, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment, ensuring that students receive the support they need to thrive academically and emotionally.
Ag Arts Coordinator
The Agricultural Arts Coordinator leads the vision, planning, implementation, and development of MSCS’s Agriculture Arts Program, which integrates hands-on learning through gardening, greenhouse management, small animal husbandry, and sustainability education. This position works closely with teachers, students, volunteers, and the greater community to provide experiential, project-based learning opportunities rooted in Waldorf pedagogy and environmental stewardship. The coordinator maintains productive garden and farm spaces while working collaboratively with teachers to provide meaningful hands-on agricultural experiences and instruction for students from early childhood through grade 8. In collaboration with the Ag Arts Co-Teacher, instructional duties will be shared. (*ie. One will teach grades 1-5, and one will teach grades 6-8, or one will teach grades 4-8 and one will teach grades 1-3, or some other combination whereby the Coordinator will have less teaching responsibilities than the Co-Teacher.)
