After graduating with a degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Kansas State University, I spent many years working in the media. I programmed, managed, and was on-air talent for several radio companies across Kansas and Texas. Throughout the years I won numerous awards for on air work and event planning and also worked with many local organizations, city governments, and non-profits for promotional and fundraising events. In 2017 I decided to completely change everything and finally moved to Colorado. I am now a licensed Realtor doing Property Management across El Paso County. This has led me to make many great connections with people in the construction, political, and business communities in Colorado Springs. I’m active in many local groups related to my profession and serve on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Springs Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers.
I got involved with Mountain Song when my stepdaughter started kindergarten and I have been so happy that we were able to find a school like this in the city we love to live in. I’m constantly amazed by seeing how much this type of education helps children grow, learn, and become adults and wish I could have had a school like this when I was growing up in rural Northeast Kansas as a child.
I’m honored to be a member of the board and use my knowledge to help Mountain Song grow and thrive, not just for my child, but for all the current and future students. I’m happy to have my skills, knowledge, and local connections come together to help Mountain Song further the mission of the school and continue being a place where this approach to education is accessible to all in our community.
