Jessie Stege, Eighth Grade, Mountain Maple Class
Jessie Stege has been teaching at Mountain Song since 2022. They have a Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree from Webster University. They spent a few years after college working as a theatrical carpenter, painter, and parade float fabricator in Saint Louis. Jessie worked for the Fort Zumwalt School district for three years, teaching technical theater and working with the Performing Arts program. They moved to Colorado Springs in 2022 and were so excited when they heard about a new teaching opportunity at a Waldorf school in the neighborhood. In Jessie’s spare time, they enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons with their friends, enjoying quality time out on the town with their spouse, and enjoying much needed rest on the couch with their three pets.
