Maria Webb, Spanish Teacher

Maria G. Webb was born in northern Mexico. She is a Spanish teacher with 22 years of experience in the educational field, from kindergarten to University. She graduated from Texas A&M International University, with a major in Spanish Language and Literature and a minor in Spanish/English Linguistics with Institutional honors Cum Laude. She studied abroad (Granada Spain) for her undergraduate as well as graduate.  Mrs. Webb is certified by Waldorf Spanish Teacher Association (WSTA).  Her passion for writing led her to be a contributor to Suite101.net as a journalist and also “La Carta” magazine of TAMIU.  Mrs. Webb served as president and member of the Honorific Organization “Sigma Delta Pi”. (Sociedad Nacional Hispánica) at TAMIU.  Loving the arts Mrs Webb participated in recitals and plays as well in a local movie “Milagro” directed by Jose Luis Montoya in the antagonistic role.  Outside of work she enjoys hiking, camping, writing, gardening, singing, dancing, crocheting, traveling, and more.
