Brandon Wood, 6th Grade Teacher
Teacher Wood believes he began his teaching career way back in high school with a mentoring program called, “Project Kids.” From there, many trails became available. For instance, Teacher Wood was “Coach Brandon” for over twenty years as a soccer coach while realizing his dream of becoming an educator. Graduating from the University of Montana (go Griz) in 2014, Teacher Wood started working in Frenchtown, MT as a kindergarten teacher, then 3rd grade. A swift move to Colorado landed him in Manitou Springs elementary school for a lovely six years. However, whispers about a brilliant little community school kept swirling and it turned out to be an irresistible call. Outside of the classroom, you will need to find Teacher Wood on a trail or falling while rock climbing (catch him if you can).
