Cade Lang, 5th-8th Grade Math Teacher
Cade comes to Mountain Song with twenty years of experience in elementary teaching 4th and 5th grade. His journey into education started with caring for his nieces and nephews at an early age, coaching youth as a high schooler, and supervising lunchrooms and recesses in between college classes on his way towards his BS in Elementary Education. Seven years in Woodland Park and 12 years in District 49 later, he is excited to begin his 3rd chapter in education with Mountain Song. He brings a unique concept of education with him called Movement Method. Based on the Horse Boy practice of rhythmic movements of the body, the use of natural calming environments and following the child’s wonder, Movement Method is a perfect complement to the Waldorf Educational Principles. He is excited to tie these ideas into the math education for all of our students at Mountain Song.
