Kelsey Kaufman, Special Education Teacher
Kelsey Kaufman graduated from Colorado State University with a BA in Sports Science in and helped pilot a free after school program for children in Denver in 2014. In 2020 Kelsey graduated with another BA in Special Education from Western Governors University receiving her dual licensure in Special Education and Elementary Education. Kelsey has earned a master’s in Educational Psychology from The University of Northern Colorado specializing in teaching strategies for non-typical students, specifically students with autism spectrum disorder. Finally, she holds a graduate certificate in Teaching Students with Autism from UNC. Kelsey is passionate about inclusive education and believes that every person deserves access to high quality education. Kelsey has experience in Affective Needs and Moderate Needs and is excited to be following her passion for inclusion through Waldorf education. When she is not at school Kelsey enjoys working out, running, hiking, camping, gardening and playing with her son and dogs. Kelsey has lived in Colorado her entire life and knows it is truly the best place in the USA.
