With a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Mathematics Concentration my 25+ years of teaching bring experience in Early Childhood, Middle School, Mathematics, and Outdoor Education. My previous leadership experience includes positions on Curriculum Committee, Head of School Selection Committee, Summer School Director, and Nature School Director. Since joining Mountain Song in the 2022/23 school year I have been instrumental in choosing a flexible curriculum for Language Arts, have been elected by my peers to serve on the TLC and I am now the Teachers Leader Council board representative. I work hard to establish relationships with my students and their parents in order to work with each child on an individual basis. I feel it is important to teach my students to be respectful, to take ownership of their classroom, and to manage themselves.
