"I was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee as the third of eight children. It was at a young age that I discovered I had a deep connection with children and a passion for nurturing their growth. This led me to create an in-home childcare program, embracing a holistic approach. I left this behind in 2013 to embark on a journey that led me to Loveland, Colorado. In 2016 I became a single mother and moved to Colorado Springs to be near my older sister. She introduced us to Mountain Song, the school her children were attending, by bringing us to a May Fair and I was in love! I was lucky enough to secure spots for my oldest two kids and the rest is history! At this time I have 3 children at Mountain Song and a highschooler that is still enjoying the friendships that were fostered here. Over the years I have convinced other siblings to move here. At one point, nine cousins—yes, nine!—were simultaneously attending Mountain Song. Our family gatherings became school functions, and the shared experiences enriched our lives in ways we couldn’t have imagined.

Beyond motherhood, I've always embraced the creative spirit. My passion for holistic wellness found expression in handcrafted jewelry. For over a decade, my successful Etsy store flourished, showcasing the beauty of natural elements. However, life loves a good plot twist. Changes in the platform forced a pivot, and I discovered a new fascination – the intricate world of cybersecurity. Embracing this challenge, I recently completed my studies, eager to explore the evolving digital landscape. Yet, the joy of creating jewelry remains an integral part of my soul.

Within the Mountain Song community, I wear multiple hats. As the Parent Circle Hospitality Chair and a dedicated Class Representative, I've coordinated fundraising events, spearheaded community-building initiatives, and played an active role in fostering a positive and supportive environment. Witnessing the impact of these efforts fuels my desire to continue contributing to this vibrant community.

I look forward to continuing this journey, supporting our school, and helping our community to thrive!"
